The Bearded Biologist was started in 2016 with the goal of providing accurate and unbiased reporting on issues related to science and the scientific community. Reporting about science is generally either too complicated for the public to understand, or sensationalized and cherry-picked for the most views by the general public. Our reporting is aimed squarely between these two extremes, providing context and detail that makes scientific findings and discussions easy to understand without the hype.
